How to Switch Off Live Captions in Chrome
One of the most useful features of Chrome is its ability to provide live captions for videos. This feature can be especially helpful for those who are hard of hearing or deaf, as well as those who are learning a new language. However, if you don’t need this feature, it can be distracting and annoying. Fortunately, it’s easy to switch off live captions in Chrome.
To turn off live captions in Chrome, open the YouTube video you want to watch and click on the three dots at the bottom right corner of the video player. From there, select “Subtitles/CC” and then uncheck the box next to “Enable Live Captions.” This will disable all live captions for that particular video. You can also turn off live captions for all videos by going into your YouTube settings and disabling them from there. Once disabled, you won’t have to worry about any more distractions while watching your favorite videos online.
