Mr Krabs is one of Spongebob Squarepants’ most popular characters. He owns the Krusty Krab restaurant where he lives with his wife Sandy and son Squidward. In the early 2000s, Mr Krabs was kidnapped by Plankton, a sea creature who wanted to take over Bikini Bottom. However, he was rescued by SpongeBob and Patrick.
In 2020, a mysterious report about Mr Krabs’ death emerged online. A Reddit user claimed that Mr Krabs had died in a car accident while driving home from work. The post included pictures of Mr Krabs’ body lying next to his car.
The post sparked controversy among fans of the show, who wondered how Mr Krabs could have died in such a way. Some even speculated that it was an elaborate hoax.
How did Mr Krabs die?
Mr Krabs, owner of the Krusty Burger fast food chain, died in a mysterious incident involving a spatula. His death was ruled a suicide by the Coroner, who determined that he had been killed by the metal spatula used to prepare burgers. A similar spatula was found near his body.
The coroner also noted that there were signs of blunt force trauma on the back of Mr Krabs’ head. This could indicate that he was hit with something heavy. Mr. Krabs had been working hard to improve the quality of his burgers, and one day while making a batch of patty shells, he slipped on the floor and fell, cutting himself deeply enough to cause fatal blood loss. He died shortly thereafter.
Plankton Is Guilty
While Mr. Krabs was alive, Plankton was always jealous of his success. After Mr. Krabs’ death, Plankton continued to sell burgers under the name “Krabby Patties.” When questioned by police, Plankton claimed that he didn’t know anything about Mr. Krabs’ murder; however, later on, he admitted to killing him.
A New Burgers Recipe Was Discovered
After Mr. Krabs’ suicide, Plankton sold burgers with a similar recipe to the original Krabby Patty. Although the burgers weren’t exactly identical, they were close enough to trick customers into thinking they were eating the real thing.
Is Mr Krabs still in SpongeBob SquarePants?
The popular cartoon Spongebob Squarepants had been making headlines recently for all the wrong reasons. Fans were confused over reports claiming that one of the main characters, Mr Krabs, died during the coronavirus outbreak.
But it turns out that the character is still very much alive. In fact, he is even more active than ever. And there are no plans to bring him down anytime soon.
In a statement shared on Twitter, Nickelodeon confirmed that the episode featuring Mr Krabs was taken off air because of its similarity with the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. “We’ve seen some speculation regarding a recent episode of SpongeBob SquarePants,” the statement read. “This episode was removed from our schedule earlier today due to its striking similarities to current events.”
However, the network reassured fans that the beloved character is safe. “Mr. Krabs is fine,” the statement added. “He’s just taking precautions like everyone else. We’re glad he’s doing his part to keep us safe!”
Meanwhile, the episode in question, titled ‘Kwarantined Crab,’ was episode 21 of season twelve. Confused fans believed it was the episode which might have feature the death of Mr Krab.
But the network clarified that the episoed was removed due to its similarities with the real-life Covid-19 pandemics. “As we continue to monitor the situation closely, we felt it important to take this step to ensure the health and safety of our cast, crew and production partners,” the statement continued.
Fans took to social media to express their disappointment over the removal of the episode. Some even suggested that the episode could have helped spread awareness about the virus.
