The beginning of his cooking career
The star chef is also very open when it comes to his aversion to the Vorwerk bestseller Thermomix . He prefers to cook properly by hand and believes that TV viewers can recreate some of the most delicious starred dishes from TV at home. Incidentally, it is no coincidence that today’s star is into gastronomy and the hotel industry. After all, Alexander Herrmann grew up in a hotelier family. He lost his parents early, at the age of 9, in a tragic car accident, after which his aunt and uncle took over the family hotel. Herrmann himself later attended a hotel management school called Bavaria Altötting.
He then did a cooking apprenticeship and sat in not only in Germany but also in Belgium. He passed his master chef exam as the best of his year . He even received an award from the Bavarian State Government for this. Since 2008, his restaurant has even had a Michelin star from the Michelin Guide. That alone shows what a high level this star is on. He’s more than just a TV chef and really knows his stuff.
Restaurants by Alexander Herrmann
The star chef is very successful as a restaurateur and now runs several restaurants. He has had the Alexander Herrmann Palazzo in Nuremberg since 2009. He also runs the Alexander Herrmann by Tobias Bätz restaurant, which has had a Michelin star since 2008 and has been awarded two Michelin stars since 2019.
